Chapter 1: Falling in Love with Storytelling
A young editor/ director discovers the power of storytelling through film and sound design, learning that every cut, every frame, and every note can change how an audience experiences a story.
Chapter 2: Learning Hollywood
“Hollywood became my classroom.” Working at CBS and Walt Disney Studios, I helped shape theatrical marketing campaigns and television promotions for some of entertainment's biggest brands.
Chapter 3: Building Storm Studios
Rather than simply working inside the industry, I wanted to build something of my own. Storm Studios grew into a creative production company serving Hollywood studios, television networks, and national brands.
Chapter 4: From Screens to Culture
I created campaigns for hundreds of feature films and television series—work that introduced audiences to new worlds, launched cultural moments, and helped some of entertainment’s most recognizable stories find their audience.
Chapter 5: Embracing Evolution
Every generation of filmmaking introduces new tools. Film. Tape. Digital. Streaming. Artificial Intelligence. Rather than resisting change, I’ve always believed creatives should embrace it, and have stayed on the leading edge of each wave.
Chapter 6: Colman AI Studios
AI didn’t replace storytelling. It expanded what’s possible. Today I help brands, agencies, and organizations use emerging technologies to create cinematic work and animation once impossible on modest budget.
